In the years since its creation, CitizenGap has made monumental strides in its research goals. Our dynamic team of researchers have conducted fieldwork, surveys and quantitate analysis all over the world. From rural villages in the provinces of India to the depths of the stacks of the Biblioteca Nacional de México, we’ve been unyielding in our commitment to transparent research and openly shared information.

There are still near a billion people in the world lacking the ability to prove their own legal identity, and our time working on the ground has showed us that now more than ever it is essential to bridge that gap
