Christoph Sperfeldt, Senior Lecturer at Macquarie Law School (Macquarie University), Fellow at the Center for Human Rights and International Justice at Stanford University, Associate of the Asia Law Centre at Melbourne Law School, and Adjunct Professor at the Center for the Study of Humanitarian Law at the Royal University of Law and Economics, Cambodia visited the CitizenGap project on 14th and 15th June 2023. On June 14th, we attended Identity Week Europe 2023, an identity industry event bringing together government and business organizations working on the latest developments within identity technology. Christoph visited the project team at the University of Amsterdam’s Roeterseiland Campus on June 15th, where he presented his current project on poverty and statelessness in Cambodia and provided feedback on project members Vy Tran and Gulshan Banas’ ongoing PhD research.
